This year, the next big game to jump on the player housing trend is Ship of Heroes. The sci-fi themed voxel MMORPG has been in open beta for a while now and launching its first major update this month – but did you know that they’re also running another mode called “Player Housing?
The “ship of heroes download” is a player housing beta test in May. The game will be available for free on iOS and Android devices, as well as PC.
This lovely Friday, the Ship of Heroes delivers good news: The in-development superhero MMORPG is entering a new test stage, this time focusing only on player housing.
“From May 5th through May 8th, 2022, our Player Housing Beta will take place,” Heroic Games adds. “This is our eighth feature Beta that has been made available to the general public. Beta testers will be able to create or reuse characters, explore Apotheosis City, and construct Player Housing. The event is free to attend, and registration is now available.”
You just need to register to attend the event; you do not need to have given or pre-purchased the game. The company is giving players in-game money so you may “splurge” on the home you build during the beta.
“Our existing player housing mirrors Apotheosis City’s location: it is urban dwelling. Whether you want to design a posh high-rise apartment with a fantastic view of the city, a rustic log cabin in the woods, or something completely unique that defies categorization, you’ll have plenty of alternatives. You have a lot of customization options, much like with the Character Creator Tool. Regardless of your level, you select your layout; it is not allocated to you. There are presently eight basic layouts available, ranging from a small studio to a large hall large enough for a whole guild or nearly anything else you can think of. Some designs are single-story, while others feature numerous levels. But don’t be deceived into believing that this would restrict your creativity: you can create walls to modify the interior arrangement anywhere you choose.”
