The Ghost in the Shell franchise has been one of the most influential and popular anime of the past few decades, and with a new live-action remake on the way, director Rupert Sanders, renowned for other hit movies like Snow White and The Huntsman, is returning to the franchise. According to Variety, original Ghost in the Shell creator Masamune Shirow is involved in designing the story for the new adaptation, which will be accessible to newcomers.

Last week, I wrote about the impending release of the Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut , and today, I’ll be covering the special edition version of the game. In an earlier post, I noted that NIS America is releasing a special edition of Ghost of Tsushima on August 20, 2018. The Director’s Cut is a pre-order bonus included with a purchase of the game’s Ultimate Edition, and it will be exclusive to both the PC and PS4 editions of the game. The Director’s Cut will come with an additional scenario and character that was not included in the original version of the game.

A lot has been said about Ghost of Tsushima since it was first announced back in 2015. It’s been in development for years and years now, and most people assumed that it was going to be an open-world game. However, after a visit to the studio and a tour of the game’s engine, it became clear to me that Ghost of Tsushima would be a wholly tactical experience, where you never really leave the character’s perspective. The whole game will take place on a small island, and you will spend most of your time in a single building, in which you’ll be able to interact with dozens of people.

The world of Sucker Punch and Ghost of Tsushima from PlayStation Studios: Director’s Cut will be released on the 20th. August 2021 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

This edition of the game will include the original adventure and all the extras sold so far. The PlayStation 5 game will include Japanese sync, haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. 3D sound, improved load times, 4K resolution and a targeted frame rate of 60 per second will also be included.

This issue is dedicated to the island of Iki, where Jin Sakai’s new adventure begins. While investigating rumors of a Mongol presence, he soon becomes involved in events that force the samurai to relive traumatic moments from his past. This island contains new locations to explore, new armor for Jin and his horse, new mini-games, new moves, new types of enemies, and new animals to pet. New trophies for this content will also be included.
