Dual Universe is a new sci-fi MMORPG that’s launching soon and creating an economy around their in game time token. They are asking players to pay $10/month for the opportunity to have guaranteed access to all upcoming major updates, 3x more than other subscribers get. The introduction of this subscription system will be closely watched by others looking at blockchain gaming as it could create more opportunities or ways for developers make money in games.

The “newest mmorpg releases” is a game that was released in December of 2018. The game is still being updated by the developers and has a monthly subscription service.

Betawatch: Dual Universe’s new subscription time token

And a real universe.

Tokens for subscription time! Aren’t they usually successful? They always make people happy and fill them with good warm thoughts? Isn’t there anything like that? As the game gets closer to release, Dual Universe has implemented one. Which is something to think about for a game that is still in beta and has a subscription.

Other beta-related news? Yes. There is, indeed.

For the time being, we’ll wish you farewell, as we do every week, but not before reminding you that we have a full list of games now in beta testing down below. We’re looking forward to hearing from you! Let us know if you spot anything that needs to be reclassified, either because it slipped into another test phase without our knowledge or because it’s something we completely overlooked.

We consider an MMO to be in open testing if it offers free, public signups and will wipe servers before launch. If an MMO is under closed testing, it is operating a private test phase that is not open to the general public; it is also generally under NDA. We will include early access and crowdfunded MMOs that pass our standards. Games that are NFT/blockchain frauds, as well as so-called “open beta” soft-launch MMOs with cash shops, no evidence of launch in the west, or minimal interest for our readers, will not be featured, nor will expansions, with rare exceptions.

betwatchavYes, MMO players, you, too, may do unpaid quality-control job known as game testing! Every week, check out Massively Overpowered’s Betawatch for a list of MMOs that are still in development, even if they seem to have taken up permanent home in an early access shed.

The “mmo today” is a new subscription time token for the game Dual Universe. It will allow players to enjoy the game with more freedom and less restrictions.
